Building dignified shelter, housing, and pathways out of poverty

Homelessness in Saint Paul has increased and Catholic Charities’ Dorothy Day Center has reached a breaking point. The need for a new vision and long-term solution is urgent. Our facilities are deteriorating and not meeting the needs of our most vulnerable community members.

We have a plan to create a more dignified way to serve our neighbors. We call this the ReVision. The Dorothy Day ReVision is a two phase, two building, $65 million project which will include increased affordable housing, dignified shelter space and a connection center.

Thanks to your support and advocacy efforts, we have secured initial state funding to begin moving forward with the ReVision. There is much work to be done, and we look forward to sharing the journey with you.
